Tourography: The Bumpus Hounds live at the Arizona State Hospital 2008-04-08

The Bumpus Hounds completed a 25-minute set at the State Hospital lawn today amid cool breezes and the bright morning sun. Robert, the guitarist from the opening band, joined us on stage for our encore. Good times.

We did not play any of my originals because this was not the audience or the time for it. The crowd seemed subdued during the songs, but cheered enthusiastically between them, which I suppose is to be expected during an employee picnic.

Nerves and errors were in abundance, but it was great to return to the stage. It's a rush better than any drug. Except heroin, that is. Yeah, heroin pretty much trumps everything.

  1. Sounds like you had a blast. And no one ever died of an overdose from Rock'n'Roll!
